Jade’s Success Story
I’ve completed 19 days of the Strong Bold Healthy Plant Based 21 Day Meal Plan. So far, it has exceeded my expectations. I took the more difficult route in making each day entirely different, but it allowed me an opportunity to indulge in a variety of amazing dishes before heading into the holidays.
Even within the first week, I could feel my body reacting positively to the changes in my diet. This is the “meal plan” that everyone OWES to themselves to honestly try at least once. It’s going to change your life.
Prior to switching to a plant based diet, I had tried a variety of diets to keep fat off and from feeling sluggish. At one point, I was on a typical “high protein diet” (unbeknownst to me at the time, I may as well been eating cartons of cigarettes daily or praying for cancer or diabetes).
I’ve counted calories, but I’d never even thought of “going plant-based.” I’d never honestly heard of any bad things about eating solely plant-based. Nothing else has been sustainable thus far, so why not at least attempt it?
I won’t lie, cooking and eating plant-based is different from any way I’ve moved in the kitchen before, so there was a slight learning curve. However, there has not been one point where I question what is in my food, only “WOW” moments where I wonder, “How does this actually taste so good- it’s just plants?!” That has been the biggest shock for me. I was fearful that it would be fairly bland or I’d feel, as naive people joke, like I’m eating “rabbit food.” There is a Grilled “Hot Dog” in this meal plan. I feel like my review could be solely that sentence. Amazing!
The second biggest shock was seeing this meal plan was actually causing me to lose weight, feel full, NOT feel bloated, and energized.
Within 19 days, I lost 8 pounds total and could visually see the difference in my loss around my stomach. Regardless of where my mind was when I began the meal plan, I can confidently say today that I have no plans to return to how I was eating ever again. I intend to maintain a primarily plant-based diet as best as possible and see where this takes me. The Strong Bold Healthy Plant Based 21 Day Meal Plan is an excellent introduction to one of the most beneficial lifestyle changes anyone could do for themselves.
