At 5’3” and 204 pounds, my weight held me back physically, mentally and emotionally. Being labeled clinically obese, I had anxiety, suffered from depression, went through bouts of disordered eating and struggled with self-image on a daily basis.
Today, I am 64-plus pounds lighter and healthier than ever! My physical and mental transformation influenced my decision to become a Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Specialist and Health Coach.
I began my certification studies in 2015 with American Council of Exercise. After the completion of my personal training certification and my baccalaureate studies at Towson University, I began working at a private personal training studio in Maryland, USA.
To provide my clients with a library of nutrition and fitness resources, I started my own business called Strong.Bold.Healthy, LLC. I built an online presence via Instagram and Facebook to share my own weight loss success story, healthy recipes, workout videos, and nutrition and fitness advice.
Even with regular exercise and calorie counting, some of my clients struggled to lose weight or plateaued in their weight loss progress altogether. I was inspired to write this meal plan and nutrition guide to ensure their success.
I take pride in the methods I use to earn optimal health. By putting food first and following my nutritional guidelines, my clients have achieved remarkable results!
I am on a non-stop mission to help people around the world make realistic and lasting lifestyle changes by taking control of their health once and for all.

I had successfully lost 44 pounds over the course of 2 years by counting calories and exercising regularly. I maintained my weight loss for 4 years and became a personal trainer and nutrition enthusiast to help those who struggled with their own weight issues.
Even though I was exercising regularly and eating what I thought was healthy (chicken, fish, low fat dairy products, whole grains, fruits and vegetables), I was still self-conscious about the way I looked. I wasn’t content with how I felt physically, emotionally or mentally and losing more weight became harder and harder.
In my mind, I didn’t look bad fully clothed, but I still didn’t have the confidence to wear a bikini. Not to mention, my skin had become really bumpy, I felt bloated all of the time, I had minimal energy and my food cravings were always through the roof.
I was introduced to veganism through a friend and decided to give it a try. Within 3 weeks, it gave me clear skin and I lost a little weight. Overall, I felt better.
I tried incorporating meat and dairy back into my diet but found that it bloated me as soon as I ate it. This led me back to eating a primarily vegan diet with eating only seafood and dairy sparingly.
I watched a documentary called Forks Over Knives and decided that I needed to commit entirely to a vegan lifestyle after realizing that eating this way wasn’t just about trying to get clear skin or lose weight. Eating vegan meant preventing disease and investing in my health for all the right reasons and not just to look good.
However, I soon found myself buying vegan cookies and justified eating them because they had a vegan label. The problem lied in the quality of food I ate and my portion control, which has always been a struggle.
To help with both of these, I developed my Strong Bold Healthy meal plan to incorporate better quality foods in my diet that weren’t boring or bland and didn’t leave me with cravings. I lost 20 pounds within the first couple of months, and I even shared it with my clients to help them progress in their weight loss!
I feel amazing after losing those 20 pounds. I have better energy, little to no cravings, no bloat and even great skin. I have kept the weight off and have even confidently worn a bikini!
